I'm Danny Lotenberg — a licensed mortgage loan originator focused on one thing: helping you make the best possible decision for the next chapter of your life. A loan is the tool. The plan is the work.

The approach

A strategist, not a salesperson.

Most people don't need another lender pitching them rates. They need someone to sit across from them — in person, on a call, or over text — and help them figure out what they're actually trying to do. That's where I start.

My background is in helping borrowers see the whole picture, not just the loan in front of them. First-time buyers who don't know which program fits. Homeowners weighing a refinance against tapping equity. Investors deciding whether the next property should be DSCR or a conventional second home. Self-employed clients who've been told their income “doesn't count.” Veterans who've never had the VA loan benefit fully explained to them.

Every conversation starts the same way: What are you actually trying to do? Then we look at the paths that may be worth exploring, compare them honestly, and build a plan around your goals — not around whatever product is easiest to close. Sometimes the right answer is to wait. Sometimes it's to move now. Sometimes it's to do something completely different than what you originally considered. That's the work.
